Over the years, Chattanooga, Tennessee has been synonymous with gang-related activities, which has led to the somewhat increase in crime in the area and surrounding regions. However, the narrative seems to have taken a twist in recent times with the region continuously producing makers of good music, one of which is the talented King Klown.
King Klown is a gangster that has been described by the likes of The Hype Magazine as the real deal, with his captivating and unique approach to making music sets him apart from others in the industry. Described as a walking billboard of the trenches in Chattanooga, Tn., King Klown’s mixtape Gang Related, has more than showed the world what he is capable of doing.
James Tucker, popularly known as King Klown, boasts that his label “RatchetLife” and style of music are a reflection of himself. “My music is my life & my life is my music,” he states. His raw performance, thought-provoking lyrics, and delivery have earned him the title of the “voice of the struggle in the hood.” This is so King Klown had to grind for his check or take somebody else’s check to feed his family, literally living the gangster life.
Gangsta Shit is the hit single off the Gang Related project and is currently available in all digital stores.
King Klown is currently recording in Atlanta, with the new project, “Sophomore Album” (G-ology) being produced by popular music maker, J Reid, who has worked with Nicki Minaj, Zaytoven, TM88 Of 808 Mafia, and Polo/423, under the guidance of the RatchetLife Music Group Team. The album has been described as “The Most Anticipated Album To Drop Early Summer,” getting it out the mud on Gang.
King Klown will also be going on a promotional tour early spring to drive home the gangsta message in a positive light.
