Mo – Thank you for having me, I am doing well. I hope everyone is staying safe in this recurring semi-pandemic situation.
Tell us a bit about yourself?
Mo – My name is Mohammad Osama Khan, I was born in Karachi, Pakistan. I was born on 21st April 1997, have always had a passion for music, of all this been a sort of entertainer and a comedian. It all started out by me covering songs of my favorite singers, recording tracks inside a car, posting stuff on social media and getting a lot of love back. Cuz when I decided to start a solo journey and write my own tracks. Now, here we are trying to stick out my neck in this cutthroat industry.
What inspired you to start making music early on in your career?
Mo- I’ve always been a sort of entertainer, I always wanted to entertain, regardless of field & position. I’ve been writing and composing music for a long time but. Last year I met Savage, He is one of the MCs and well recognized rapper of Pakistan. I was able to give him a demo and that’s when he pushed me to promote my music. He even said that he will provide resources, Like his producers and other artists, videographers etc. So I acquired the opportunity and made the most of it.
Was there anyone specific that inspired your sound?
Mo – In short you can say I’m a product of NF, EMINEM, HASHIM NAWAZ, TALHA ANJUM, TALHA YUNUS, LUKE GAWNE & SAVAGE.
If you could work with any artist now, who would it be?
Mo- I would love to work with all the artists, I admire. It’s all love here.
What are the highlights of your music career so far?
Mo- So far I’ve only published “Bemisal” and I was lucky to have Z4NE produce for me. Z4ne is an amazing producer.
Your most recent project is entitled “Bemisal” tell us more about what inspired you?
Mo- This was one of my first compositions, I thought I would start with one of the most laid-back tracks, then go with the flow.
What is next for Mo Khan?
Mo – I’m currently working on several projects, working on upcoming project with Ink Heart, it’s been a dream and luckily I was able to work with him on my second track of my career. I’d say I’ve been pretty lucky and blessed to be able to work with these people.
Finally – what piece of advice would you give any aspiring creator and artist out there?
Mo- to all the artists out there, keep hustling and believe in yourself. Stay humble and respectful: Almighty will bless & reward you with success invase you won’t even imagine. “Laga Reh”.
